Informed by fields ranging from occult mysticism, neuroscience, and philosophy Devin's work explores boundaries of identity and perception through an examination of the body. We inherit so much, we are so much of what has happened before, before we were born, during the gestation of our bodies, and every moment after. We affect others and are affected by them in ways we will never know. Perception exists as tremendous bundles of impulses, thoughts, and drives blind to each other. But the body’s complexity is simple in its integrity. Devin's work asks us to reexamine our relationship to an embodied reality in such a way that we might discover an exciting and fruitful way of being-with others and our environment.
